Last.FM and Squeezecenter 7.0

I have finally got some scrobbling going on, yippee. I have never owned an Ipod, I-river (can record as well so more useful IMO!) or any specific MP3 player as I don’t like carrying too many things around all the time. My phone has 8GB and is a walkman too so that’s 2 in 1, more convenient and I can use bluetooth headphones with it without any adapters or other annoyances, but I can’t scrobble with it unfortunately.

At home I have a squeezebox media player which has been great since I bought it and the new firmware update includes the new Squeezecenter 7.0. On first look the update really improves the interface and it seems a bit flashier too, probably with some Logitech money I guess… Anyway you can now scrobble with one of the default plugins that come with the squeezecenter and so it’s a doddle to set up.

The only downfall is that the rest of my household also uses the squeezebox and so my Last.FM stats are going to be infected with my girlfriends music!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooo…
